A European consultancy helping regulated organisations govern AI-assisted software development.
We kept seeing the same split in regulated organisations. Some had banned AI coding tools outright, convinced that removing them removed the risk. It did not. It just pushed the usage into the shadows, where no one could see it, measure it or audit it.
Others had embraced the tools enthusiastically, but with no governance at all. AI-generated code was flowing into production with no record of how it was produced, reviewed or approved. When an examiner asked the obvious questions, there were no answers to give.
Neither side had a bridge between the two: a way to keep the speed of AI assistance while producing the examiner-ready evidence regulators increasingly expect. That bridge is why we founded Altive. We make governed AI development practical, so it is faster and safer than either banning the tools or ignoring them.

Magno Leite
Co-founder
Magno Leite is a software architect, AI engineer, and enterprise integration specialist with more than 25 years of experience delivering business-critical systems across banking, regulated industries, and large-scale enterprise environments. His expertise spans AI engineering, agentic systems, enterprise architecture, identity and access management (IAM/IGA), API ecosystems, software security, databases, cloud platforms, and modern application development.
Over the past several years, he has focused extensively on AI-assisted software delivery, building multi-agent systems, RAG architectures, AI-powered products, and governance frameworks that enable organisations to adopt AI safely and effectively.
Magno combines deep enterprise engineering experience with hands-on AI innovation. He has designed and built autonomous AI workflows using technologies such as LangGraph, LangChain, Agno, Ollama, OpenAI, Claude, Qwen, and Mistral, while also developing production-grade web platforms, developer tooling, and AI-enabled products. His work includes creating AI-assisted development platforms, prediction-market systems, and generative AI applications.
A Professional Scrum Master with a strong cybersecurity and governance mindset, Magno has spent much of his career helping organisations balance innovation, security, compliance, and operational reliability. He co-founded Altive to bring proven engineering discipline, governance, and auditability to AI-assisted software development, enabling regulated organisations to accelerate delivery without compromising control, security, or accountability.
